For its 80th anniversary, Maastricht Aachen Airport wanted to share a gift that would honor the past while creating a lasting memory for the future. They turned to The Dutch Tile Project to design a piece that combined craftsmanship, creativity, and heritage.
We developed a fully customised ceramic tile design featuring the airport’s iconic control tower. An unmistakable symbol of Maastricht Aachen Airport and its history. A total of 420 tiles were produced, each serving as an original keepsake for employees and valued business relations.
The result was an elegant and meaningful gift. One that not only marked a historic milestone but also reinforced the airport’s connection with its people and partners.
